Sarah and Yiannis

We were so excited (and lucky!) to adventure to Greece with the beautiful Sarah and Yiannis.

Their “Big Fat Greek Wedding” was held in the picturesque village of Leonidio, a small town tucked in a valley at the foot of a mountain and the edge of the sea. This was a special place for Sarah and Yiannis, as Leonidio is the hometown of Yiannis’ mama.

As soon as our feet hit the ground, we snuck off for a cheeky pre-wedding shoot at the stunning Monastery St Nikolaos of Sintza – this church was built into the mountainside in the 17th century.

The following day was the 4th of July, the day Sarah and Yiannis first met and would now call their wedding day. It was a glorious 40 degrees and everyone stayed well hydrated with plenty of Ouzo. Loved ones came from around the corner, literally, and across the seas, traveling as far as Melbourne, New York, Japan, and England. It was a magical day. As the sunset over the water, the night was topped off with a good ol’ Zorba!
